We are Brian Jones RocknRoll Revival www.brianjonesrocknroll.com and we need a new PRO SAXAPHONE player who loves classic deep rocknroll. Since 2015, we are a full tilt boogie 8-piece band and play a lot of late 1960's deep cuts power tunes from The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Zeppelin, and classic blues from Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley. We are a Rolling Stones inspired band with 3 LP albums. So our live shows are a mix of classic rock, blues tunes and original songs. All our songs are focused on fun, dance and party music. This summer we are booked at Gator By The Bay, SD County Fair, Lucidity Festival, Little Italy Art Walk, Winstons, Humphreys Backstage, Grossmont Summer Series and more. We play all over San Diego, at some of the best venues (Humphrey's, Music Box, Winstons, Casbah) on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, usually on Thurs, Fri, Sat nights. We aim to only play venues with stages, lights and sound systems. We generally earn $400-$1000 per show and split the cash amongst the band. We rehearse weekly on Tuesday (and Thursday nights - as needed) from 7pm -9pm in Clairmont and RocknRoll San Diego studios. We are all serious working musicians, no drugs or drinking problems. We are committed and responsible individuals and this is band is a passion project focused on fun, performance and professionalism.
