Essential Functions: Repair various building-related items including plumbing, electric, drywall, paint, and landscaping Perform maintenance repair work, alterations and renovation upgrades as assigned Complete work orders in queue based on urgency or order in which they were received Keep management informed of needs or changes required to keep the facility operating in a safe and well-maintained condition Maintain inventory of cleaning and repair supplies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and understanding of cleaning processes and procedures Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to fix maintenance issues Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP’s, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Experience working in facilities maintenance Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry Ability to work with minimal supervision Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and be customer service oriented Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task The company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
