GREENWICH, CT — The district announced Wednesday afternoon all Greenwich Public Schools will be closed Thursday due to expected inclement weather. The announcement was made on the district website. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.) District spokesperson Jonathan Supranowitz confirmed Thursday will be a traditional snow day rather than a remote learning day. He also noted a decision will be made Thursday evening about whether Friday will be a fully remote or in-person learning day. The announcement comes as the winter's first major storm bares down on the region.
