GREENWICH, CT — First Selectman Fred Camillo, in concert with the town's Emergency Closing Group, has decided in the interest of the health and safety of town employees and residents that Town Hall offices will be closed to staff and visitors Thursday, Dec. 17.
Town employees who are able will be working remotely and will be available via email and voicemail. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Town Hall will reopen for walk-ins from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., and by appointment from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Friday.
The temporary closure comes after nearly a foot of snow has fallen in many towns across Connecticut, with some more still expected in some areas Thursday.
