We are currently seeking Machine Operators to work for a leading game manufacturer. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Operating final assembly equipment. -Performing basic troubleshooting on some of the simpler pieces of equipment, such as, carton tapers, dispensers, date coders and instruction inserters. -Working as a team member on the production line to meet required production and quality output levels. -Filling out production reports, time tickets, or service reports -Participating in the departments continuous improvement initiatives -Participating in the Total Productive Maintenance Systems (TMP) and 5S. -Performing material handling -Performing other duties assigned. REQUIREMENTS: -Must be able to cross train on all of the below machines. -Must have a resume and complete an in person interview -Must be able to train on 1st shift for 6 weeks -Must be able to lead and maintain the crew for the machines (2-8 employees) -Ability to read and understand the equipment operations manuals. -Ability to communicate effectively with other team members. -Preferred: 2 years in a manufacturing environment, TYPES OF MACHINES TO CROSS TRAIN ON: *Sheetfeed Printing Pressman: Responsible for operating the printing press and meeting standards for production/quality. *Sheetfeed Printing Second Pressman: Assist the 1st pressman, Relieves the 1st pressman for breaks, leaves, vacations, etc. *Webfed Printing 1st Pressman: Responsible for operating the web printing press and meeting standards for production quality. *Sheeter Operator: Responsible for the sheeter. Cuts the boards. Inspects for quality. *Die Cutter Operator:Responsible for the operation of the die-cutting equipment and meeting production/quality standards. Performs machine operator tasks in set-up, maintenance, and operation of the cutter. *Folder-Gluer Operator: Sets up folder gluer machines for operation. Inspects materials for quality. Complete paperwork. Responsible for operating the folding equipment and meeting production/quality standards. *Rigid Box Machine Operator: Sets up rigid box machines for operation. Inspects materials for quality. Completes paperwork. Responsible for rigid box equipment and meeting production/quality standards. *Rollem and Flow Wrapper Operators. *Machine and repairs all equipment. Performs machine tasks in set up/make ready and other maintenance of equipment.
