The wind raised energy prices 22% yesterday and the ocean followed suit this morning by raising the cost to use its waves by 17%. The sun is expected to raise its rate for solar energy by as much as 30% by the end of next week. The silver lining is that checks made out to the wind almost always blow away and get lost, checks to the ocean get wet and unreadable, and checks sent to the sun always burn up before being delivered.
