Horeb English Service We are excited to re-open and give opportunities for those ready to come back to do so! We also recognize that services will not be the same for a while and that the way we do things will be greatly adjusted to comply with our city's health orders. Our of love and service to one another, we ask that as you consider joining us, you participate in a manner that agrees with the following restrictions from the Los Angeles County of Health & Human Services: 1) Gatherings will not exceed 60 people in the sanctuary; 2) Households will sit 6 feet apart in every direction from other households; 3) Everyone will wear a mask; 4) Temperature checks will be conducted prior to entering; 5)The facilities will be thoroughly sanitized between services; 7) No nursery, children's or youth ministries will be offered; 8) People with a fever, a cold, or flu-like symptoms must postpone their visit. Please submit ONE form per person attending Health Precautions for Re-opening at Horeb Baptist Church If you’re ready to come back, we cannot wait to see you! Before visiting one of our services, take a look at what we expect from our guests and what we are doing to prepare for your visit in order to ensure a healthy worship experience for all. WHAT WE ASK OF OUR GUESTS Please maintain 6 feet of distance and avoid unnecessary physical contact with members outside of your household. Please wear a face covering at all times and use disinfectant upon entering buildings. Please postpone your attendance if you have a fever, a cold, or flu-like symptoms. If you would like prayer, ask one of our staff and we will gladly pray with you. Please be prepared to have your temperature taken prior to entry. *By entering our buildings you are acknowledging the risks associated with COVID-19 and participating in public gatherings. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US • BEFORE SERVICE, the area of the gathering will be cleaned and sanitized. 1. All common-touch surfaces (i.e. door handles, counters, light switches, chairs, etc.) will be sanitized w/ disinfectant cleaner. 2. All seating will be sanitized w/ aerosol disinfectant spray. 3. All sound/stage/service equipment will be sanitized w/ disinfectant. • DURING SERVICE, the area of the gathering will be occupied with safety measures in place. 1. Prior to entry, guests will be screened by trained staff by having their temperature checked (touch-free thermometer), their names checked off the list or added, contact information noted, and temperature recorded. 2. All guests & staff will be asked to sanitize hands and supplies will be replenished to ensure protective equipment is available at sanitary stations. 3. All guests & staff will be encouraged to maintain a 6 ft. distance from all others that are not a member of their household. 4. HVAC systems will be ‘On’ & on ‘FAN Mode’ to allow airflow in the area of gathering. • AFTER SERVICE, guests will safely & promptly exit the building (continuing to follow social distancing rules/guidelines) and staff will prepare the area of gathering for the following service. 1. Staff will utilize protective gear, and begin disinfecting the entire area of gathering again (i.e. restrooms, seating, door handles, common-touch surfaces, stage/sound equipment etc.) with appropriate disinfectant cleaners. 2. Staff will ensure sanitary stations are readily stocked for the next group of guests. 3. Staff will repeat steps during each service to maintain safety and health for all guests and other staff members. We look forward to seeing you at Horeb Baptist Church this week!
