Description
Rehoming a juvenile Australian barking gecko, also known as a thick tailed gecko or Underwoodisaurus milii. These have become one of my favorite geckos to keep since they're fairly outgoing, hardy and super cute. Look at those big doe eyes!
This is looking like a male with a regen tail. I'm asking $100 for him and an enclosure. The tank pictured is an extra 10 gallon that I have that has a custom background and bioactive substrate. Pickup in Seattle, near Interbay.
These geckos are known for their barking sounds at night, and are easy to care for in captivity. Their care is similar to leopard geckos, but their warm side should be kept around 85 degrees. They can be kept in a tank as small as 10 gallons, but as always, bigger is better. He is currently eating dusted mealworms and gutloaded crickets.
