Bow Wow Club is an established and well-loved pet sitting & dog walking company in Cedar Rapids, and we are seeking exceptional pet lovers to add to our staff. Please note: We will be accepting applications until we find the right staff, so if you are viewing this posting weeks after it’s been published, please contact us as we may still need more staff members! Help is needed in: Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Robins Information regarding visits: Appointments are 2-4 visits per day for 3-14 days or ongoing. (You’ll provide feeding, walking, and mail pickup while clients are away.) Appointments for dogs are 20-30 minutes. (Perfect for someone who wants to supplement his/her income before and after a full-time job.) Visit times for cats are more flexible and are usually once daily for a 20-30 minute visit. Requirements for the dog walker or pet visitor position: • You have a car. • You can commit to working with us for at least 6 months to develop relationships with the animals. • You love both dogs and cats. • You can work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s (Don’t worry; you’ll be able to have a holiday too, and you’ll be paid more per visit during this time.) • You can pass a criminal / background check. Hours/Pay rate: Approximately 5-15 hours per week, and more if desired. $12+ per appointment (appts are 20-30 minutes). Earn more with tips, multi-pet households and on holidays.
