MANUAL MACHINEST - Entry Level, but experience is a plus SUMMARY: Responsible for and must be capable of manufacturing quality products on Manual Mill and Lathe, which includes changing materials and tools as required. This position is also responsible for inspecting the products being produced by utilizing tools properly suited for the purpose, accurately filling out any necessary paperwork and efficiency by performing the following duties. DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned. • Reads and accurately interprets internal drawings as well as customer provided engineering drawings and setup documents. • Uses measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, go and no go pins, bore gages, and thread gages efficiently and accurately. • Determines cutting tool needs and replaces when needed without product loss or damage. • Utilizes grinding and cutting tools as needed such as air grinders, drill press, Bridgeport, grinders, saws, and deburr tools. • Maintains a clean and organized work environment and or good housekeeping skills. • Determines when to stop producing product due to quality and/or safety related issues. • Maintains accuracy on clocking in and/or out of time and shop orders. • Uses adequate lifting equipment or methods to prevent personal injury.
