We are looking for moderators for the National History Bee, International Geography Bee, and National Science Bee, a set of buzzer-based competitions for elementary and middle school students across the United States. The events are similar to, but not exactly like, what you may see on shows like Jeopardy! We are particularly focusing on recruiting staff in Central Florida in advance of our 2022 Elementary and Middle School National Championships, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando from June 17-21, 2022. The pay for moderators for our in-person tournaments is $15 per match ($10 per match for online tournaments), which can turn out to be as much as $200 for a full day of events. If you are interested in staffing the National Championships, you should fill out the staff application form at at. Once you have completed the application, we will be in touch regarding scheduling an evaluation and collecting any additional information needed for our records. For our National Championships, we will also reimburse for mileage to and from the event in addition to your staff pay. Moderators from the greater Orlando area do NOT need to commit to working the entire five-day event.
