Let me just start by saying that I'm just trying to make it through the next few weeks or so and keep our family together. This isn't normal for me but I have posted a few times in the last week because people would rather be nosy even when they can't help. I'm not trying to swindle anyone. We've had offers but part of the issue is we have no transportation and no funds to hire transport. We had a couple nice people help where they could with food and toiletries. So grateful. Anyway here's my quick story... I know it's not anyone else's responsibility to feed my animals or my family.. I really do. We are just struggling so badly. Our vehicle broke down which resulted in our inability to get to work which was in Plainfield. We took lyfts for as long as possible until we just couldnt afford them. After that the world has just been piling upon us. We filed taxes in January and assumed the refund would have arrived in a timely manner. Had it hit our account we wouldn't be in such dire straights. But here we are still waiting. We are on the verge of losing everything because we counted on our refund. Anyway.... Our pets are family though. My husband and I are already doing with very minimal amounts at best just to ensure that the kids and my furry kids do not have to do without too much. I have 3 large adult dogs and 3 giant rabbits. If anyone has an extra bag of dog food or dog food related items or some hay and pellets for the bunnies we'd be so grateful. I forage as much as possible too for my bunnies. I hate asking for help, it's embarrassing and shameful but my family is worth my pride. Again anything would help! Even your thoughts and prayers for better circumstances for us would mean a lot. Thanks for reading. Im using a texting app because my cell service is disconnected.
