Description

Hi, I'm old Mom of one. I have the apartment to my self today and am looking to meet a guy any age or size and have some adult fun.. Looking to connect to work on some cover songs and hopefully play some gigs! I play rhythm guitar and have some singing ability. Typically rock from 70's to 90's, but open to other styles. I'm in my mid 50's if that matters. We've got the vocal covered, but if you have a song or two that makes everybody groove, you're welcome to try them at a couple gigs, then we'll see how they go over. (We don't play metal or country or hip-hop; we like them all, but we're more dance, funk, blues, and R&B oriented.) Clubs we've played are Turf Club, Main Street, St. Anthony Park 4th of July, Nicollet Island Pavilion, and others up in Ramsey and Sherburne County, but we don't want to drive up there anymore - just city gigs now. Blues and honky tonk piano guy looking for a band. Pros only. Not talking about: Stormy Monday, maybe Statesboro Blues... No lame drifty, sleep at the wheel blues. Hopped up energy, every song, lots of solos, texture, know when to play, know when to stay... Must have a tenor voice in the band. No bad girlfriends who keep you at home. A travel band is a plus... Casinos, big crowds, outdoor fests, general mayhem is welcome. Sorry it's such a long post, but information can save both you and us time...so, write for a list of songs, and we'll take it from there. We don't need to fill this till July. Looking for a fairly strong guitar player who can put down some solid leads. I would like someone with more of a blues influence. Looking to be able to answer back and forth with long lengthy trade off solos. Classic rock to 80 s and 90s. Looking to get two sets and play the songs really tight. Like to play out 4-6 times per year. Experienced Minneapolis musicians/band (Guitar, bass, drums) seeks keyboardist to join original garage rock band. Backup vocals a plus (female vocals a double plus). Practice once a week. Gigs once a month. Influences: Strokes, Kinks, Hives, Sonics, etc.Looking for someone to join fiddle/banjo and guitar player for a gypsy jazz project. In addition to what you'd expect, we also do covers of tunes that aren't usually swung. We're thinking percussionist/bass would be ideal but would consider other instruments. Practice/gig once a week usually.
