Viking Heating & Sheetmetal is a small, but rapidly growing company. We currently have 18 employees including office and shop. We need someone who has experience in the HVAC field both in residential and light commercial. We need someone who can go on service calls but can also install the equipment as well. Our service techs cover the small replacement jobs as well as the service side. We offer benefits to employees: 401K(4% match), holiday pay, PTO, and health insurance (Dental and eye included). Wage is DOE Responsibilities: Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly Install mini splits, or RTU and start up units Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device Perform maintenance and provide customer support Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them Order parts and sheetmetal needed for job completion Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers Build and maintain relationships with customers Qualifications: Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams 2+ years of experience preferred Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently without much supervision Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces driver's license and a clean driving record To Apply: You can come by our shop at 11841 SE Foster Rd, Portland OR to drop off a resume or fill out an app OR You can email resume over to me and we will be in touch with you Also, we will need to drug test you for our insurance but marijuana will not impact your ability to work/drive with the company.
