It's not a war to "protect abortion", understand....it's a war to keep THE STATE from mandating what can and cannot go on inside someone's body. This is the fight. Carlin got it exactly right. I am not a proponent of abortion. Don't like it one bit. Do I believe it's "murder"? Not unless it's happening in the third trimester, then, yes. Extraordinary circumstances would have to be the considering factors here. This is not a decision to be taken lightly. In 1993 my wife and I had to make a decision that agonized us both, and between us and the doctors, we made the right choice. We had to abort a fetus that would have been disfigured and otherwise would have not survived outside the womb. It was a terrible thing we had to face. Those who have not been placed in this situation should keep their mouths shut. Your RELIGION is dictating whatever morality you seem to be adhering to. It surely isn't common sense, nor is it you placing yourself inside our shoes. No matter your religious views, WOMEN need to decide this issue, not MEN. It affects WOMEN, and having MEN decide what is best for WOMEN, without WOMEN'S INPUT, would be like women deciding that MEN need to be STERILIZED, so that abortion is no longer necessary. So, until that day arrives, MEN need to stay out of this. This is a decision WOMEN need to make for themselves, and they most certainly do not need any help from the males in our species.
