As my interests in music grew, I ventured into extreme metal, and have spent many years as a death metal vocalist—my main inspirations were Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation and Jordan James Phillip of Disentomb. As time has gone on, I’ve started to lean back into my past, and find myself interested in exploring music in the vein of Black Sabbath, Motorhead, and even new acts like Ghost, Heavy Sentence, and Venator. While I still love extreme metal, which will always be an influence for me, I have a certain vision of misanthropy that requires a different sort of delivery. Not looking for a high pressure situation. Looking for people with good songwriting and some up-tempo songs. A few slow tunes is ok but if your band is built around slow songs I'm not it.
