Experienced bass player with pro equipment wants to form or join a band based on creativity. Recording & live music. Springfield or within 50 miles north of Springfield area. Let’s put a group together. Will also consider joining your group; prefer working with those who have own practice space. Prefer working with educated professionals who have day job, are retired, or are financially independent. “I don’t have a ride, man” - just doesn't work for me. Prefer High-Energy Rock and/or Blues oriented. Looking for good guitarists, vocalist, keyboardist, drummer - who are tired of the cover material that everyone does. You have your own pro equipment. Prefer female vocals but willing to work with male vocalist, especially if you also play an instrument. Let’s unleash our creativity and do originals and re-makes! I have multiple production ideas based on years of experience and have originals, but would like to work with musicians who also write, and/or are willing to do our own versions of 60s-70s songs that are not the common tired songs, with the exception of a very few dynamic outstanding preferred songs. “But the songs… play these notes exactly” - the fact is that you will never be as creative as the original artist on playing note for note, with the same arrangement & dynamics (which is boring - I can listen to original-artist high-end recordings if I want that), and if you haven’t yet realized this, then you are not who I want to play with. CREATIVITY and SPONTANEITY is what I am looking for. AND, not interested in working with political right-wing extremists. And to be specific, if you are a trump follower - not interested in working with you. Also, not interested in working with religious extremists or anti-vaxers. In the age of covid virus transmissibility, I want to work with fully vaccinated responsible individuals. I am. Maybe YOU are the accomplished guitar player who wants to be creative? Who can play outstanding leads and wants to “lock-in” with the bass and drums, and understands dynamics. Prefer ability to do vocals, either backup or lead. But for the right guitarist, not mandatory. Maybe YOU are the accomplished drummer who understands dynamics, feel, and eye contact for instant changeups, who understands how to “lock-in” with the bass? Vocalist a plus. Maybe YOU are the accomplished vocalist or even the new vocalist who can belt it out - and in tune? Playing an instrument is a plus. No wishy washy, “But I sing gentle like the new sound-the-same millennial preferred music”. And no metal screamers. Maybe YOU are the accomplished keyboard player who understands adding to group cohesion? Synth player & vocalist a plus. Age unimportant, except for over 18 - if you are a prodigy 18 year old - great. If you are the 75 year old who understands what I am referring to - great. Yeah, I know, sounds almost impossible.
