We are hiring general retail assembly technicians. An Assembly Technician is a commission-based role, responsible for putting together parts or pieces, adhering to instructions, and verifying the quality of the completed items assembled. We cater to large national chains, assembling products like grills, wheelbarrows, furniture, mowers, cabinets, bicyles, etc. This is an Independent Contractor position and is an excellent fit for someone who loves to see direct compensation as a result of their skill of assembling products. Compensation is paid by the finished piece; therefore, high-energy, fast-paced individuals or teams are most successful. This position offers the freedom of working on your own; so we are looking for self-motivators who can treat and grow the business like their own. The faster and more accurately you work, the more money you make. Previous experience is great, but if you are handy with tools and capable of learning quickly, we have a job for you. COMPENSATION • Commission/Piecework Based Pay (Percentage of invoiced work) • We pay every week on Friday! POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must be 18 years of age or older • Reliable transportation is a MUST • Will accept teams and experienced assemblers • Local positions are available, but if you are flexible and can travel, more work is available • Heavy lifting is required (up to 80lbs repeatedly and daily) • Previous product assembly experience is helpful but not required PERSONAL TOOL REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL RETAIL ASSEMBLY TECH: • Cordless Drill Gun (with at least 2 batteries) • Assorted Bits and Adapters for Drill Gun • Cordless Impact Driver • Allen Wrench Socket for Impact Driver • Basic Hand Tools • Smart Phone or Smart Device with WiFi or Mobile Internet • 2 Caution Cones AVAILABILITY • Full-time • Weekends
