Immediate opening for a caretaker or couple at HARTH Foundation facilities to care for our horses and perform basic farm work in exchange for a large, furnished 2-bedroom apartment and a monthly stipend based on experience. Utilities included. Perfect position for someone with supplemental income (pension, etc.) who loves country living and being around horses. HARTH facilities are located right on the shores of Lake Buchanan in Burnet TX so bring your fishing rod!
HARTH serves those with a variety of physical, emotional, and mental challenges through our therapeutic riding programs. HARTH also offers healing programs for combat veterans.
The successful candidate must have extensive experience caring for horses, positive/self starter, non-smoker, dependable & team player. No children. Must have own transportation. Experienced in basic ranch repairs – fixing pipes, tractor work etc. would be a plus.
Background and references checked. If you own a horse, bringing it might be a possibility.
