Description
TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're thinking of adding a pet to your home while the coronavirus stay-at-home order remains in place, the Toms River Animal Facility may have just the new friend for you.
The township animal shelter is doing adoptions by appointment only between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the facility on Oak Avenue, next to the police department.
Interested potential adopters should call the shelter between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to set up an appointment.
The adoption application will be filled out at the shelter when you arrive and they will do a meet and greet with you and the dog or cat you are interested in.
Pets needing forever homes can be seen on the facility's Facebook page and also on Petfinder.
