Hello, Johnny here, professional businessman in need of like-minded entrepreneurial venture capitalist / investor / partner to help fund initial expenses for my vision of a state-of-the-art, indoor practice and playing facility. A “Hit Club” to take Little Leaguers to the next level with climate controlled conditions and pro instructors on call, as a destination to serve as the go-to headquarters for every coach’s starting lineup in the area — any day, every day — regardless of the weather! My family has owned and operated successful batting cages during the 1980s and ‘90s in New Jersey under the “All-Star” name — where I learned all aspects of the game and of the business side. Now, I am prepared to bring back the brand in 2022 as a baseball parent. My son is a student-athlete of an elite county youth team, so not only is this a passion project, it’s a risk-free profitable venture with a built-in customer base where I’d be catering to a need not now fulfilled across an uneven marketplace! See, many such talent-filled travel ballclubs have formed in conjunction with increased interest in athletics amongst pre-teens and high schoolers where local youth organizations cannot contain or cultivate demand — which is why out-of-town leagues / teams are growing. Year-round commitment comes with this, yet there are not nearly enough practice and playing grounds, in-season (and off-season) clinics, or even basic hitting cages and space for fielding drills. My blueprint is simple in an enrollment based model of tiered members visiting in reserved time blocks, augmented by open hours available to the public, plus private options of birthdays / events any individuals or groups may choose to host. I’ve already found several suitable spots with reasonable rents and have all the connections for equipment / staff / etc., so the only piece needed to complete the plan is funding. Open to either option of a straight loan via contractual agreement of full payback within a fair time frame (2 years with agreed-upon interest added), OR a partnership share collaborative effort (at an agreed-upon percentage split). $30-$50k will achieve opening up the doors within 3-6 months.
