Hi, I've been in Florida from NYC for nearly two years and looking to find some folks (or one) to talk to & hang out with: Coffee, cards, beach walks or scrabble, YMCA, bike rides, pool (as in shooting pool), gallery visits, etc. I am a young 63, female, I don't drink, take drugs or go to clubs so finding friends has not been easy. I'm an autodidact so though not formally educated, I am smart and looking for folks who are too (you don't have to be Einstein, just average smart). I am a political junkie, though also politically homeless. I write and paint (portraiture), I walk and think, and need to laugh more. That's it. Floridians are welcome to reach out, but there is something about a New Yorker, or at least a northeasterner who just gets it about another northeastern. Other artists are very welcome.
