A Sampling of Your Job Responsibilities
• Keep on task in fast-paced outside work environment
• Keep your eyes open for issues on the property which require further attention or repair
• Perform routine maintenance
• Assist with various physical tasks including painting wood trim, repairing concrete walkways, stair railings, carpentry, and irrigation repair
• Repair and replace light bulbs, patio screens and clean AC Drains as scheduled
• Use backpack blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and trash
• Blow tennis court and rake volley ball court
• Relocate abandoned furniture from the compactor area to bulk pick up zone, keep bulk zone organized and compactor area trash free
• Physically walk all areas of the community frequently; remove litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, climb ladder, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Must be skilled in the safe use and maintenance of golf cart operation and hand power tools
Things Required of You
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work 40 hours weekly (8:30AM to 5:00PM), no weekends, no overtime, no on-call
• Communicate effectively with management and team members while presenting a positive, professional image
• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Association Manager
• Able to follow directions as given, multitask and meet deadlines of scheduled tasks
• Think safety first and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptly
• Active cell phone for messaging to management and reliable transportation. Personal phone time is limited to break or after hours.
