A Condo Community in the heart of Lahaina, Maui, is looking for a full-time General Maintenance Technician that takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, enjoys working inside and outside, and can spring into action in the event of an emergency.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all common areas and perform safety checks.
Ensure all common mechanical systems are inspected, tested, and maintained.
Survey the property and note any deficiencies that are visible and make the necessary repairs.
Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to the General Manager and make necessary repair.
Perform emergency repair and maintenance to ensure the safety of guests and property.
Enforce community rules and policies. Respond to inquiries from owners, tenants, and guests.
Keep and maintain accurate written records and document work each day.
Complete tasks as assigned by General Manager and be back-up as Security occasionally.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pool operator certification (CPO) is a plus but not required.
General knowledge of building construction, maintenance, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical systems.
Adept in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Pay:
$18 - $22 per hour based on experience, 32-40 hours per week.

Hours:
8 hour shift with weekend availability.
Westside residents are preferred but not required.
