Join us for a hands on spring tree pruning workshop Welcome Baltimore City’s newest Aboreal neighbors off the delivery truck to be planted all throughout our parks, streets, school yards, and green spaces this April and May. This will be a multi-faceted workshop on tree ID, arboriculture, nursery stock inspection, and tree planting. It’s a great primer for anyone interested in signing up for Baltimore TreeKeepers, a multi-organizational, NGO and governmental agency administered educational program offered free twice a year to City residents looking to green up their neighborhood. Join Baltimore City Recreation and Parks’ Urban and Community Forester Teddy Martello in Druid Hill Park as we walk about and talk trees.
