Finding Your Good: Powered by Goodwill of Greater Washington, Finding Your Good is a community-centered platform (website, podcast, event series, and more!) to inspire sustainable living through all things DIY and fashion. Goodwill of Greater Washington: Goodwill of Greater Washington is an approved non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization (Federal Tax ID: 53-0196588). Our mission is to transform lives and communities through the power of education and employment. Main Street Pearl: Main Street Pearl is a youth-centered, queer-friendly micro-café located in the heart of historic Takoma Park, Maryland. Focused on delivering bright, bubbly experiences - from drinks and vegan nosh to youth-made retail to family-centered programming to queer gear - Main Street Pearl is the heart of Takoma Park for the young, young of heart, and all rainbow-loving folx. REMAKE: Labeled as the Peace Corps of fashion, Remake is an advocacy organization focused on making fashion a force for good. With first-hand documentary shorts and photo-rich stories, we make the invisible women who make our clothes visible. Our facts and stories help our community break up with fast fashion while our curated Sustainable Brands List inspires consumers to buy better, remaking their closets with fashion that respects people and the planet. Since Remake’s beginning, we’ve been urging people to think about those who make our clothes with our #WearYourValues campaign. The FullFillery: FullFillery is a zero-waste store where customers can buy household goods and personal care products with reusable or compostable packaging (or none at all!). Our mission is to shift our culture from a throw-away society to one where nothing is wasted, and everything gets reused or transformed. We also believe in encouraging local entrepreneurship of climate-friendly businesses in our community, so many of our vendors are right in the Maryland/DC area. Our flagship line of body care, kitchen cleaners, and laundry products is made 5 miles from our new storefront. Our vendors are friends and community members who put their principles over profit. Bespoke Not Broke: Bespoke Not Broke is the nation’s premier name in vintage, consignment, and upscale resale for men, women, and children. "Although many of our custom, high-end designer and unique items were formerly in the possession of the families of professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, lobbyists, Senators, Congressmen, and C-level business executives in the Washington D.C. area; we travel coast-to-coast regularly scouring many of the Nation’s estate sales, consignment, thrift, and vintage stores in search of that elusive piece that was meant just for you!"
