We are seeking someone to help in our retail location. Having some knowledge of tarantulas is helpful but training will be provided. Responsibilities include: *Helping the retail part of the shop. *Take care of customers in a warm and friendly manner. *Ensure the shop stays neat and clean. *Help feed, house, and pack spiderlings. This will be the primary responsibility. *Represent Fear Not Tarantulas in a professional manner. Applicants will succeed at Fear Not Tarantulas if they: 1. Are able to complete tasks and see what needs to be done independently. 2. Are enthusiastic about introducing people to cool creatures! 3. Willing to learn about how to care for spiderlings and tarantulas. 4. Have a positive attitude and can get along with a variety of personalities. 5. Able to lift 25 lbs. We are seeking someone who is warm and friendly and can work with a team of diverse personalities. Fear Not Tarantulas is the largest retailer of tarantulas in the US. We breed, import, export, and ship over 120 species of tarantulas. This is a team effort and training will be provided, so Fear Not! Hours: Monday - Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday 10:00 - 5:00 * There is some flexibility with hours and days. We also have a part-time position. $11/hour to start. Previous experience and knowledge will be considered in the starting pay. After training and proven efficiency and independence, additional pay and bonuses are possible.
