I worked in retail and direct mail marketing/desktop publishing and education (high school art) from 1984 to 2012. I am retired and spend my days teaching piano and music theory and woodshedding on New Orleans r&b, jazz fake book, 12-bar blues, Pig Robbins country style. I can sing simple baritone harmony and leads on: Roadhouse Blues Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down Desperado Hank Williams songs Since I Fell For You... a few examples. I am a published songwriter and continue to write and perform my original songs. I can get along with just about anybody and believe kindness and compassion are two necessary qualities that get me through every day. I am seeking a working ($) band. I can commit to rehearsals once a week and will come prepared with my parts ready to work on arrangements. I have weekdays free and friday, saturday evenings for playing out. Sunday's free, too.
