Qualifications Excellent roof mechanic and communicator Ability to production roof with the team to lay down the the squares 6-8 years experience roofing and driving high production roof teams Basic knowledge of carpentry including use of required tools Flexibility to perform other construction and maintenance tasks as need Ascend and descend ladders and follow all OSHA regulations Work safely on roofs for extended periods of time; in very hot and cold Temperatures Regularly lift and move up to 50 to 80 lbs Must have regular, reliable attendance record Motor Vehicle Report check and pre-employment background check Roofing certifications are a plus. OSHA 10 / MA DOT a plus US work authorization Responsibilities The roofing foreman will remove old shingles and underlayment to install new underlayment and shingles per the project specifications The roofing foreman will lead and develop roofing staff, drive production and maintain strict schedule Make structural improvements such as framing and sistering rafters Investigate, locate and repair roof leaks Make various repairs to home from solar installation.
