Qualifications Excellent communicator Work directly with the foreman to lay down the roofing squares, aid in team development and increase team productivity 4-5 years experience in residential roofing, basic knowledge of carpentry including use of tools Flexibility to perform other construction and maintenance tasks as need Work safely on roofs for extended periods of time; ascend and descend ladders; Follow OSHA regulations. Regularly lift and move up to 50 to 80 lbs Must have regular, reliable attendance record Motor Vehicle Report check and pre-employment background check Roofing certifications are a plus. US work authorization Responsibilities The roofer/carpenter will remove old shingles and underlayment to install new underlayment and shingles per the project / manufacturer specifications Assess site prior to project start to obtain measurements Make structural improvements such as framing and sistering rafters Investigate, locate and repair roof leaks Make various repairs to home from solar installation.
