Description

The Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series offers Bostonians and visitors FREE workouts in parks throughout Boston. Open to all fitness levels. This class is a total body workout that will get your heart rate pumping and will include a 6-minute warm up followed by blocks of body-weight exercises that target the upper body, lower body, core and cardio for a full body experience. We will end with a cool down and some stretching. Bring some water and a yoga/fitness mat if you have one. The class is high intensity, but modifications will be offered for all fitness levels. I encourage you to join consistently so that you can benchmark your fitness level and get stronger as the weeks progress. *The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) host the annual Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
