We have beautiful and sweet Maximilian Pionus for sale. Very hard to find! Her name is Rosie, and she is the sweetest goofiest bird ever! She also loves to mimic laughter and it can be impressively convincing. She loves to dance for you, and is incredibly silly. She knows how to mimic several phrases, but her voice is pretty gravely so it is hard to hear exactly what she is saying. She came from a rough home where she did not get the attention or nutrition she needed so she has a lot of bronzed feathers right now. She has recently started molting and her new feathers coming in are much brighter and happier. If you interested, Please send me your number for more details, Thank you... We have switched her to a healthy pellet diet along with a handmade veggie chop and she LOVES it and is so much healthier now. We really would want to keep her, but feel she would do better in a home with less stimulation (we have two dogs and a cat that seem to stress her out). She would do best in a home without tons of additional stimuli (i.e. cats or dogs, other loud scary noises etc.) but gets along really well with other birds! We are asking a rehoming fee to ensure she goes somewhere that will be prepared to keep a pionus and able to give her what she needs. Very fancy large cage and LOTS of toys, travel carrier, perch, and all other goodies we have for her. Including food and my homemade chopped veg mix. If you are familiar with Pionus's you will know this is a very good deal.
