GEAR SWAP DETAILS The Life Time Chicago Triathlon is proud to bring back Chicago's only triathlon-specific gear swap! During this event, new and veteran triathletes can exchange, buy or sell their used triathlon gear with ease. This event is complimentary for buyers, and $5 for individuals who plan to sell gear. Complimentary food and drink will be served to participants. INTERESTED IN SELLING GEAR? Chances are you have a LOT of triathlon gear, apparel and other items that you just couldn't bring yourself to throw away. Well, now's your chance to help out a new triathlete, make room for some new gear AND make a few bucks. Please keep items specific to the sport of triathlon (ie. no unicycles, no roller blades) and leave those race t-shirts at home. Plan to arrive early for setup. We'll fill-in all sellers with the selling logistics and an item-labeling template as the event draws near. INTERESTED IN BUYING GEAR? Put together a list of what you need, grab a friend, come early for the best selection, and bring plenty of cash or a check (don't expect to use credit cards). To ensure fire code capacities, all Buyers must also RSVP in advance. TIMELINE 11:00 AM Setup Begins (for anyone selling gear) 12:00 PM Doors Open (all buyers) 4:00 PM Event Concludes DIRECTIONS Industrious is located at 171 N Aberdeen Street in Chicago. If you plan to drive, limited street parking is available in the area. If you plan to travel by CTA, the Morgan L Station (Pink & Green Lines) is the closest stop. The Halsted #8 and Madison #20 are your best bets via CTA bus.
