It's time to clean up our streets literally! Come out, clean up, listen to some music, eat some lunch, win some prizes, and so much more! This name of this event is the Clean & Green w/ the Queen. The purpose of hosting this event is to take community ownership over the areas where we earn, shop, and live by cleaning said area and urge that our local aldermen provide our community with more garbage cans and public cleaning services. We all need to do our part to help keep our neighborhoods and our earth clean and green now and for the future. Each and every one of us can do our share to help our environment. The people who volunteer to participate in the clean and green will be divided into teams that will be distinguished by color (red, blue, green, and etc.) This is done so the teams that collect the most trash bags can win prizes. Cleaning will be accompanied with music provided by multiple DJs and a lunch hour. People will also be able to bring clothes and shoes to donate.
