ACADEMY AWARDS IS BACK! 2022 Beacon Academy Awards Night! Tuesday, May 24, 2019; 7:00pm-9:00pm Hemmens Cultural Center - 45 Symphony Way - Elgin, IL 60120 IT’S BACK! Join us for the 2022 Beacon Academy Awards Night the evening of Tuesday, May 24, 2022. See a variety of media content produced by academy students and find out who wins awards in categories like: BEST DIRECTOR, BEST EDITOR, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHER, BEST SCREEN TALENT AND BEST OVERALL CONTENT! The awards night will begin promptly at 7:00pm at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Downtown Elgin, Il (45 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL 60120). Each academy class will be featured with a short video montage of their work this school year. Then, the nominees for each category will be announced with a chance to walk the red carpet if they win! Parents/guardians, grandparents, family members, friends, alumni and incoming 8th grade academy students—COME DRESSED TO IMPRESS-- while we recognize the hard work of our students and bid farewell to our 11th graduating academy class. GRADUATE, TEACHER AND ALUMNI RECEPTION AT 6:00PM! There is NO ADMISSION FEE for this awards night – SEATING available with pre-registration on EVENTBRITE.COM (we fill the building every year for this occasion—don’t be LATE!)—ONLY 800 TICKETS AVAILABLE! Current Students DO NOT NEED TO RESERVE TICKETS for themselves-- their seat is already reserved. Family & friends must make reservations. Thank you!
