Pacific Northwest Farmers’ Cooperative (PNW), a progressive growers’ co-op located in the heart of the Palouse, is seeking Warehouse and Scale people for The Colfax Washington Area. Position includes competitive wage DOE, and is an equal opportunity employer. PNW needs help with general labor, including but not limited to: climbing ladders, Weighing and receiving trucks, loading trucks, measuring product levels, communicating with supervisor daily, and filling out and turning in completed paperwork daily. Experience with farm/yard work and familiarity with basics of farming preferred. Must be comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles, elevators, hand tools and computers. Guaranteed fresh air and an opportunity to grow your mind and resume all while toning your muscles! Work will be performed outdoors in all weather, so you must be physically fit and able to perform appointed tasks, including lifting 30-50 lbs. Must be able to self-direct and work alone or with others. Hours will begin with 8 hour days and shift to 12 hour+ days during Harvest. Overtime is paid. Work will begin in May and run through Aug/Sept, with possible Full-Time opportunities after harvest as well. A cell phone, Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
