TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Lavallette woman whose body was found on the beach in the Ocean Beach section of Toms River on Saturday drowned, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Sunday. Jennifer Jack, 43, was found unresponsive on the beach near the water about 6 a.m. on Saturday, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Invite them via email! "At this point in time, there's no evidence to suggest there was any foul play or criminal activity involved in this unfortunate incident," Billhimer said. "The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Major Crime Unit, Toms River Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office will continue to investigate the manner of death to be sure our information is accurate." The prosecutor's office's Major Crime Unit, Toms River police, the New Jersey State Police Marine Division, New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit, New Jersey State Police Major Crime Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded.
