JOB SUMMARY: Sporting goods manufacturer is looking for an individual with great attention to detail. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who prefers to work in a quiet office environment with no retail customers. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Our office is located in NW Gainesville. POSITION OVERVIEW: The role includes kitting all parts included in final packaging. Accuracy and consistency is key to the position. Folding small plastic boxes and putting on stickers/labels onto their correct locations on boxes. The role is basically packaging small plastic products into plastic boxes and making sure the correct items get into the boxes and are labeled properly. COMPENSATION: $16/hr for 30-day trial period, increasing to $17/hr with opportunity for overtime, bonuses and raises. Full-time 40 hours/week. Daytime shifts only. NECESSARY SKILLS: • Excellent attention to detail, can work at an elevated pace and work on your own. • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions • High energy and self-driven individual. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds to 35 pounds. PRODUCTION EXECUTION & CONTROL: • Perform production duties such as folding boxes and sticking on labels. • Ensure all production parts are adequate before sign off • Maintain the production pace as required by management • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the office manager. • Perform related duties as required by office manager. · Ensure compliance with Safety Policies and Practices · Ensure compliance with Security Policies · Notify the Office Manager of quality concerns · Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations · Work cooperatively with other team members on continuous improvement efforts ArmaLaser, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disability Employer.
