- Part-Time: $18 per hour cash every Thursday. The work hours are not flexible, but are Wednesday & Thursday, 11am to 5pm, every week. You will be working directly under my supervision. You should be willing to work12 hours per week. I need someone to help me in the yard and garden since spring is here and there is much work to be done. This gig is ongoing through the summer and may lead to other types of maintenance work. You must be fit enough to lift 80lbs bags of soil and mulch, peat moss, sand, concrete, mortar, lumber, all the various materials used in landscaping and gardening. You will be doing the physical work I used to enjoy but can no longer perform due to injuries. My house lot is about 12,000 sq feet with a small garden in the lower part and numerous beds and plantings spaced around the property. I have big plans for additional plants and design if I can find the right person with the right knowledge and most importantly the right attitude. (I'm not looking for a supervisor or consultant. If you can follow directions exactly without engaging in debate over every little action, that would be a bonus.) One does not have to understand why I do things the way I do, they just have to closely follow my directions.
