Spiritual gifts within the local church
This course examines the major passages in the New Testament about spiritual gifts – an issue that has created much confusion and disagreement throughout church history. This course will give practical answers from Scripture regarding the place of spiritual gifts in the life of the individual believer and within the local church context, addressing topics such as the nature of spiritual gifts, the nature and purpose of speaking in tongues and prophecy, the “perfect” in 1 Corinthians 13, and the role of women in the church and their use of spiritual gifts.
Shepherds Theological Seminary will feature Dr. Michael Vanlaningham this Summer from May 30-June 4, 2022.
