‍Beginner Photography for Kids (Ages 8-14) The Basic Building Blocks of Photography ‍Beginner Photography for Kids (Ages 8-14)The Basic Building Blocks of Photography This class is designed for kids to learn the basics of how a camera works, whether point and shoot or interchangeable lens camera. This course will help your kids learn the basics: What is photography, How photography works, What modes you find on a camera and what they do, Lens basics, Perspectives and more! With Photo examples, encouragement to ask questions, and hands on learning, this class will help expand the imagination, knowledge and inspiration for your child to think about taking pictures in a whole new light. This class will start at Mike's Camera where we will meet and then walk over to Heritage Park (a parent or guardian must be present with the child for the entirety of the workshop), where we will have our lesson and then take what we learned and practice around the park and on our way back to the store. When we arrive back at the store, we will discuss simple editing tools to enhance and crop images, and each student will get to print (3) 4x6 prints of what they captured during the class! What You’ll Need A point and shoot or interchangeable lens camera with manual and scene modes (if you do not have access to a camera like this, we will have a limited amount available to lend out for the class)A memory card (if one is needed, we will have them for sale at any point during the class)Extra batteries just in caseComfortable walking shoes (that goes for you too, parents!)Water bottle
