Join us in amplifying the new work of Ukrainian playwrights and raising money for the people of Ukraine.
TMORA will be requiring masks for audience members, as well as proof of vaccination or proof of negative medically administered Covid-19 test within 72 hours of showtime.
Arts organizations across the Twin Cities join The Worldwide Readings Project to share new works by Ukrainian playwrights and raise money for Ukrainian war relief, sponsored by Jungle Theater, Playwrights’ Center, The Museum of Russian Art (TMORA) and Theatre Novi Most.
Directed by Lisa Channer and Vladimir Rovinsky, these performances will feature excerpts of up to 8 new works written since the Russian invasion began, through a commission from the Trust for Mutual Understanding. The evening will also include live music performed by Lev and Olga Frayman. The talented cast performing these staged readings includes Paul de Cordova, Sun Mee Chomet, Adelin Phelps, and Barbra Berlovitz.
The Jungle Theater will host the first event on April 25 at 7:30 pm. The Museum of Russian Art will host the second on April 30 at 7:30 pm.
TMORA's in-person reading/performance will take place in the Main Gallery. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
