The Someburros Open to support Rancho Feliz Charitable Foundation Join the Someburros Compassion Committee in their first golf tournament to where proceeds will go to support the Rancho Feliz Charitable Foundation. This day of fun will be made up of teams of two, and will begin with Someburros famous breakfast burros and margaritas to fill you up before you tee off! Lunch will be catered by our sister restaurant, Isabel's Amor. This tournament will feature contests such as closest to the pin, a 50/50 raffle, best dressed team, and more! Please join us for a great day of fun for the whole family including music, yard games, and interactive driving range, awards and recognition ceremony and of course, amazing food! About Rancho Feliz They are a grass roots, volunteer-based, multi-national, secular, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. They serve in the community of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. We are volunteers committed to redefining charity. Rancho Feliz was founded by brothers Gil and Troy Gillenwater. It was originally formed to provide food, clothing and shelter to abandoned children along the Mexican border. Since 1987, Rancho Feliz has raised and invested over $16 million dollars to build homes, education centers, childcare centers, orphanages, and volunteer dormitories along Arizona’s southern border. This infrastructure has provided the foundation for entire families to lift themselves from extreme poverty into the global middle class. They have also provided over 25,000 volunteers a way to feed their souls by serving the less fortunate. Along the way they have funded over 2,000 scholarships; distributed several tons of medical supplies, sponsored many medical procedures, dispensed more than 400 tons of food to provide 4.6 million meals to the hungry; provided aid to the fragile Tarahumara tribe; and even created a dog program to help out man's best friend in Mexico.
