Mountain Vista Communities, the Fort Huachuca Housing/Maintenance Company, is looking for dependable Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper is responsible for assisting Maintenance Office with maintaining the appearance of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and presentable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Groundskeeper is responsible for landscaping such as: mowing, edging, weed pulling, tree trimming, other general maintenance repairs and other duties as assigned. This person is responsible for the daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing trash. The Groundskeeper must provide exceptional customer service and be able to perform physical work effectively in all the different elements Requirements: 1. One-year experience or training as general laborer with knowledge of landscaping 2. Must be able to read and write legibly to complete required maintenance reports and requests, review manuals and operating instructions, read cautionary labels, and respond to written instruction from staff and residents. 3. Ability to present a professional appearance 4. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 5. High school diploma or equivalent 6. Must be able to pass drug and background check Mountain Vista Communities is an EOE. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
