Bring your own denim jeans and jackets and let’s PAINT! In this one day workshop, bring your own denim jeans and jackets, and let’s PAINT! With a background in fashion design, Artist Janie Reisler will show you from START to FINISH how easy and approachable painting denim can be! You’ll prepare the pieces using inspiration from current fashion designers and contemporary artists to create some original, show-stopping designs. Attendees will leave this workshop with a completed piece and the experience to further their wardrobe customization at home! **Please make sure your denim has very little to no stretch as stretchy materials don’t hold paint well. Lighter denim also works best** This workshop is for all levels of experience, but best suited for ages 16+. ————————————————— MATERIALS LIST All materials will be provided, including this list below. No refund will be given if less than seventy two (72) hours notice of the cancellation is given. About the Instructor: Janie Reisler is a new resident to South Florida coming from Montreal, Canada. She is an artist, graphic designer, graduate art historian and educator and has been teaching many art styles for over 30 years. These styles include classical life drawing, 3D design, fashion illustration, drawing from the live model, decorative painting, collage, recycled/upcycled art and currently the trending, MIXED MEDIA/ STREET ART STYLE. She is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to the Arts Warehouse in DELRAY BEACH.
