On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, weather permitting, the Town's contractor, Ricciardi Brothers Inc., will be installing new water gate valves on Boylston Circle near the rear entrance to Mountain View Cemetery. Residents on Boylston Circle from Gulf Street to Boylston Street near the rear entrance to the cemetery as well as Stone Meadow Farm and houses 113-139 Boylston Street will not have water from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m. to allow the work to be completed
*The condition of the existing water gate valves are unknown at the intersection of Boylston Circle and Boylston Street. If they do not function correctly, water service will have to be suspended further south on Boylston Street and will include Meriam Avenue, Loring Street, and Prospect Street from Boylston Street to Spring Street.
Please follow the link below for a map of the area where water service will be interrupted.
Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may also have reduced pressure or discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
