Lead Designer qualifications Knowledge and experience with working with flowers- how to process, maintain, design and deliver. Experienced with floral mechanics of wedding work, funerals, and large displays. Knowledge on flowers and plants – including knowing when certain products are available in different seasons Experience on recipes and costing of floral arrangements Computer applications: Word, Excel, Trello, Outlook On site and in studio management of designers and crew. Ability to motivate and be a good leader and team builder. Ability to drive a large van, possibly truck are a plus Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds Flexible on work schedule; good attendance and availability are important Organization and multi-tasking abilities – keep work space nice and tidy Event production experience a plus Flexible on job duties – we all wear different hats: willingness to do whatever needs to be done at the studio and on event sites including taking out trash, if needed Presentable appearance is necessary when working in public and on site due to caliber of our clientele. Able to start as soon as possible (our goal is beginning to mid-May)
