Hailed as "a continually rising talent in the conducting world" by the Baltimore Sun, guest conductor Jonathan Taylor Rush brings passion, unique interpretation, and a refreshing energy to the orchestral experience.
A lively DSO program features classical, spiritual, and popular music by Black composers and artists, including arrangements of Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin favorites.
This Detroit Neighborhood Initiative Performance is sponsored by the General Motors Corporation, and is produced in partnership with the City of Detroit’s Office of Arts, Culture, and Entrepreneurship.
In compliance with DSO Safety Policy, all attendees must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or negative test results.
