Press release from the Delaware Technical Community College: March 29, 2022 Delaware Tech is proud of the student-athletes that represent the College. Athlete Spotlight honors one athlete each week on the Delaware Tech Athletics Instagram account for their athletic performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment to education. Brandon Tice Brandon Tice is a member of the men's lacrosse team, a criminal justice major, and a graduate of Lake Forest High School. Tice is in his first year with the men's lacrosse team and has scored 13 goals in the team's first two games. On Feb. 26 against Carroll County Community College, Tice scored 9 goals to break Delaware Tech's single-game scoring record of 8, which was set in 2009 and 2010. Macey Myers Macey Myers is a member of the softball team, a legal studies major, and a graduate of Milford High School. As Head Coach Guy Wilkins said, "Macey brings a big bat to the team every single game." Myers had one of the top batting averages in the nation last season, and is on a similar track this season. In four games, Myers has 8 hits including a game-winning home run. Cade Williams Cade Williams is a pitcher on the baseball team, a business administration transfer option major, and a graduate of Nandua High School in Virginia. On March 11, Williams pitched a sensational complete game shutout against Sussex County Community College, where he recorded 7 strikeouts while giving up just 2 hits. For the season, Williams has 5 wins in 5 starts with a 1.63 ERA. Matt Kracyla Matt Kracyla is a second-year player on the men's lacrosse team, a graduate of Middletown High School, and a general studies major. Kracyla is currently fourth on the team in goals scored, third on the team in assists, and fourth on the team in total points. As one of the team's captains, Kracyla is a leader on and off the field. Kylie Kruger Kylie Kruger is a first-year member of the softball team, a graduate of Sussex Tech High School, and an elementary education major. Through the team's first 10 games, Kruger is fourth on the team in batting with a .429 average and first on the team in RBI with 13. She has also played all of the infield positions except catcher and shortstop this season, and has a perfect fielding percentage.
