Seeking female vocalist who has an interest in the following: lounge jazz, exotica, trip hop, bossa nova, samba, mambo, calyspo, Big band swing jazz, vocal pop ( jazz), Some key influences: Astrud Gilberto, Julie London, Shirley Bassey, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Erykah badu, Bebel Gilberto, Minnie Riperton, Flora Purim, Bjork, Beth Gibbons ( Portishead), Siouxsie Sioux ( Siouxsie & The Banshees), Broadcast, Stereolab, April March, Peggy Lee, Bille Holiday, Nina Simone, Gal Costa, Wanda De Sah, Yma Sumac, Eartha Kitt, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Mama Cass Elliott, Karen Carpenter, France Gall. You must have reasonable organizational skills and memory, good ear. Experience with live performance and studio production not necessary, but helpful.
